Email Settings for VPS Clients

When your site moves to our VPS server, it's most likely that your email "set-up" setting will change.

Here are the tech basics that you need to know in order to set up your email on your laptop / PC / tablet / phone (and please note, we do know the inner working of every device; we can provide the details you need, but it's up to you to get things setup on your device.

Mail Client Manual Settings
--------------------------- 

Secure SSL/TLS Settings (Direct off the server)

Username: Use YOUR email address ie. test@paulbarrs.com 

Password: Use the email account’s password. This is provided to you separately, or, may be the same as your previous password. 

Incoming Server: mail.your_domain.com.au   OR vps.paulbarrs.hosting

* IMAP Port: 993 
* POP3 Port: 995 

Outgoing Server: mail.your_domain.com.au OR vps.paulbarrs.hosting

* SMTP Port: 465 IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication.

Non-SSL Settings (via your domain hosting) 

Username: Your Email address ie test@paulbarrs.com 

Password: Use the email account’s password. This is provided to you separately, or, may be the same as your previous password. 

Incoming Server: mail.your_domain.com.au 

* IMAP Port: 143 
* POP3 Port: 110 

Outgoing Server: mail.your_domain.com.au 

* SMTP Port: 587 IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication. 

Any questions, please submit a support ticket, or LOGIN TO YOUR WEBMAIL and check your settings there.
